Frequently Asked Questions About Direct Debit GivingQ. What are the major advantages of electronic giving by direct debit?A. Direct debit is all about convenience for you and consistency for the church. Electronic giving eliminates frequent check writing and helps members stay on track with pledges even when they are unable to attend services. The church in turn benefits from much-needed donation consistency and a reduction in the volume of check and cash contributions that must be handled and manually processed in the church office.Q. How does Direct Debit Giving work?A. Contributions are transferred automatically from your checking or savings account to the church’s bank account.Q. How are my automatic contributions deducted and transferred?A. First, you sign and return an authorization form to the church indicating the amount you wish to contribute on a regular basis. Contributions are then transferred through the Automated Clearing House (ACH) network—the same network already used by families to make mortgage and utility payments or to receive payroll earnings and Social Security income. Direct debit goes by other names including Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT), automatic payment, or simply, ACH.Q. When will my contribution be debited from my account?A. A debit to your account will occur each month on the date you specify on your authorization form.Q. How will I keep track of contributions in my check register?A. Since your contribution is made at a pre- established time, you simply record it in your check register on the appropriate date. Electronic contributions will appear on your bank statement.Q. WhatcanIusetoproveImadea contribution?A.Your bank statement will show an itemized list of electronic transactions that can be used as proof of your contributions.Q. Is giving by direct debit risky?A. It is certainly less risky than writing checks or carrying cash to church. To process electronic donations, thechurchusesV ancoServices, LLC—an established and highly-regarded company that moves funds directly from church members to the church on the same day without any delay. Vanco processes contributions for more than 10,000 churches and nonprofit organizations.Q. How much does direct debit giving cost?A. It costs you nothing and it costs the church very little. It is the lowest cost method of transferring funds.Q. What if I try electronic giving by direct debit and don’t like it?A. You can cancel your authorization at any time by notifying the church.Q. How can I sign up for electronic giving by direct debit?A. Complete, sign and return an authorization form to the church office.

Chad is sometimes a nice guy....and we are not too anxious for his bio.

I was born in Ohio and grew up in Mason. My family came to Grace in 1985 when my dad took the pastorate position. After graduating from Mason High School I attended Baptist Bible College in Springfield, MO where I met my husband Cal Puckett. We were married in December of 2000.After school we moved back to Mason in January of 2003 and began working at Grace. I work at the church as a part-time secretary and also help Cal with various ministries at Grace. We have been blessed with three children, Caloway, Norah and Winston. I have enjoyed our time at Grace, love the people, love helping Cal with ministry and love raising my children here. I"m excited to see what God will do with the rest of our time at Grace and then whatever He has planned for us in the future.Favorite Authors/Books: anything by Mark Driscoll, Tim Keller, Shepherding A Child"s Heart by Tedd Tripp, Family Driven Faith by Voddie Bacham, Feminine Appeal by Carolyn Mahanney, the Harry Potter Books, Lord of the Rings, and the Hunger Games Series.Favorite Movies: Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter & Pride & Prejudice.Favorite Musicians: I love all kinds of music, when it"s good, worship cd"s, John Mayer, Black Keys, Sheryl Crow, etc.Favorite Food: RIBS!!Hobbies: I love watching movies with my husband, love playing with and teaching my children about God and life, love music, love reading good books, love hanging out with friends and eating good food!

Who says that blind dates don't work out? Another couple introducedus on a blind date. My better half and I are celebrating our 25th anniversary. He is a man of integrity. I love his laugh and his great stories. We have two sons. One in college and the other in high school. They are strong in their faith. All of them love the Lord. What more could I ask for?I started attending Grace in January 1978. It was a small congregation of 20-30 people. A lot has changed since then. I came on staff as a part time secretary in September 1990. I really enjoy serving at Grace. I can't think of a better atmosphere for work. And the co-workers, not bad either! I am thankful for all God has provided for me. I am a blessed woman.Favorite Artists: Steven Curtis Chapman and Phillips Craig and DeanFavorite Verse: I Cor. 10:31 "Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God." That's what it is all about.Favorite Foods: American, Italian, MexicanFavorite Activities: playing games and fellowshipping with friends Favorite Movies: chick flicks and some action films

My primary ministry is to my husband and children. Jay and I have been married for 19 years, and have been blessed with 8 children and 12 grandchildren. Two of our children are still at home: Marcus is 17, and Julia is 12.Back in 1998, God used my own experience in biblical counseling to give me a passion for helping others in the same way. This led to my certification in 2003, through the National Association of Nouthetic Counselors. I am personally blessed as I continually have the privilege of helping others find the answers to life’s problems through the sufficiency of God’s Word, and His Spirit working in us.My favorite authors are Elyse Fitzpatrick, Martha Peace, Elizabeth George, Paul Tripp, James McDonald, Ken Sande, and Nancy Leigh DeMoss. For recreational reading, I enjoy historical Christian fiction, especially by the Thoenes and Tracie Peterson. This past summer, I enjoyed reading the At Home in Mitford series by Jan Karon. These stories are relaxing, humorous, and inspiring, and I actually missed the characters after completing the series!Songs rich in biblical truth are very inspiring to me, such as The Refiner’s Fire by Steve Green, and In Christ Alone.I love to cook, and enjoy a wide variety of foods. But my all-time favorite would have to be ice cream!I like movies with happy endings (like Sabrina), and also mysteries. It’s interesting to figure out “who-done-it”.My favorite hobby is reading, and I also enjoy writing. My life-long dream has been to write a book someday. As a family, we all enjoy watching The Andy Griffith Show together.

Kyle is a very nice guy....but keeps dodging his bio portion of the website. We'll all be anxiously waiting!

I grew up on the east side of Pennsylvania, only twenty minutes from the Delaware River. I left the “cutting edge” culture of Pen Argyl, Pennsylvania, only to move to another “cutting edge” culture in the farmlands of Cedarville, Ohio. I received a BA in Preseminary from Cedarville University and then went on to do my masters work at both Dallas Theological Seminary and Southern Seminary. I graduated from Southern Seminary in 2003 with my Masters of Divinity. I met Becky while at Cedarville and we were married in 1999. God has blessed us with three awesome kids, Elle, Kate, and Drew! While I had strongly considered pursing a PhD, it was quite clear that God was leading me to join a congregation as one of their pastors. I accepted an invitation to join the staff at Grace Baptist Church in May of 2003 as student/worship pastor. In 2006, I transitioned into discipleship and now I oversee the LIFE groups at Grace as well as lead our congregation in corporate worship. Additionally, I’m an associate professor in the Tyndale Learning Center, an extension branch of Tyndale Seminary that meets in our church, I lead our MarriedLife Adult Bible Fellowship, counsel in our biblical counseling ministry, and teach in the Providence Extension Program, a college preparatory alternative to local high school that trains students to employ sound reasoning while developing a strong Biblical life and worldview.Books: Some of my favorite books are Andy Stanley’s Next Generation Leader, Marcus Buckingham’s The One Thing You Need to Know, Ron Nash’s Faith and Reason and Kevin Deyoung and Ted Kluck’s Why We’re not Emergent From Two Guys Who Should Be.Movies: I’m a sucker for a glorious and triumphant war movie so my favorites are: Braveheart, The Patriot, and Gladiator. On a lighter note Dumb and Dumber is a classic.Food: Anything Italian and Mexican is a hit with me. Pizza is always a winner -- my palate is not very refined.Music: My friends say I grew up in the wrong decade, but I’m a fan of the big hair bands of the late 80’s and early 90’s. One of my favorite things to do is to sit down with my guitar and play old Skid Row and Led Zeppelin. On a more contemporary level, I like John Mayer, Chris Tomlin, Anberlin, Breaking Benjamin, Creed, David Crowder Band, Switchfoot, Hillsong United, and many more. Hobbies: I enjoy writing. I hope to have opportunity to write some articles and books that help Christians understand and somewhat unpack this awesome life God has given us! I love to play the guitar and have been playing since I was 12 years old. My parents bought me an acoustic guitar as a Christmas present and I’ve never looked back. Music is a way we express our love and adoration to our God. I love to ride motorcycles. There’s nothing quite like the open road on a motorcycle. Seeing the countryside on a motorcycle is an experience everyone should have.I also love sports and enjoy playing golf and football the most but I’m always up for watching any sport. I love theology not because I want to be smarter by gaining more information but because I want to apprehend what he has revealed in his Word. This can only happen through deliberate study of theology. It is very rewarding!

I was born and raised in Winamac, Indiana. I graduated from Baptist Bible College in Springfield, MO in 2001 with my bachelors in Youth Ministry. I met my wife Tiffani at college and we were married in 2000. We moved to Mason in January of 2003 and I started on staff at Grace as an Associate Pastor. I have had the pleasure to work with the College & Career Class, the Young Couples Ministry and now work with Students and Kids. We have three kids, Caloway, Norah & Winston. In 2008 I finished my masters from Liberty University. We have a few more years here at Grace and then plan to start a church. Favorite authors: Piper, Keller, Mahanney, StokerFavorite Movies: Braveheart, Lord of the Rings, The Princess BrideFavorite Musicians: Young MC, Johnny Cash, Derek Webb, FNMFavorite Food: Sushi & SteakHobbies: reading, everything MMA, being a coffee snob and wrestling with my kids

I was born in June of 1958 in Covington, KY and raised in Florence, KY. I married my wife Char in 1979 and have four daughters and seven grandchildren.
